IoM3 Award: Yijun LIm

We are delighted to announce that Mr Yijun Lim has won the national Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IoM3) James S Walker Prize (2020), for the best student project on the subject of polymers.  The prize was awarded for Yijun's thesis:

In-situ 3D observation of damage development and healing

in a carbon-fibre/epoxy composite.

Yijun graduated from this department and Corpus Christi College during the summer of 2019, and is now pursuing a successful career.

The IoM3 plans to make the award during a special event at their London headquarters during December 2020.
