Monadic Pavlovian associative learning in a backpropgation-free photonic network

A team of researchers from this department, Exeter and Muenster have developed Pavlov's idea (of producing an outcome through two unconnected events) for AI purposes.

Using a new optical chip the team were able to create a unique network architecture and send multiple optical signals on a single channel.  Read more about this exciting development by clicking on the link below:
