Industrial Tours
With the exception of the period affected by the COVID pandemic, our students often organise an industrial tour abroad to give students the opportunity to see materials science in industry, to experience different cultures, and to meet with students studying Materials and related subjects at universities overseas. Please note that we do not guarantee that industrial tours will be offered - this is dependent each year on a number of factors, including the requirement for one or two current students to volunteer to organise* the tour and then doing so in a timely manner (*guidance is provided by a member of staff).
