POSTGRADUATE SKILLS TRAINING
In addition to the present Department of Materials skills training webpage, containing information on training specifically provided for Materials graduate students, the MPLS Division provides a Divisional Career Development & Training Programme with courses to support the personal, professional and career development of graduate students and research staff.
Departmental Skills Training Resources
The Department of Materials offers a wide range of skills training events each year. These are summarized in the "Introduction to Postgraduate Skills Training" document available below (This is an extract from our Graduate Course Handbook, which also contains links to other skills training resources). The slide shows presented at the most recent delivery of several skills training events are also available via the links below. (The dates refer to the latest revision, not the most recent year of delivery).
